JOB OPENNINGS FOR LANDSCAPE WORKERS IN LOWER MAINLAND

Number of Positions – 2 (Two)

Jassar Enterprises Ltd. located in Surrey, B.C. urgently requires 3 Permanent & Full Time, Landscape Worker. Our company deals with residential projects, from multiunit developments, and single-family homes, to restoration and renovation services. The interested candidates should be reliable, organized, client-focused, flexible, team player, dependable and should have effective interpersonal skills.

Duties:

Assist with landscape constructions
Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
Cut grass, Rake and collect refuse
Remove litter and garbage
Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
Lay sod or seed, Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
Apply fertilizers
Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
Eligibility Requirements:

·         No formal education requirements.

·         No Language Requirement

Some work experience as a construction labourer would be an asset, On the job training can be provided. Ability to walk stands, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks. Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time. Requires lifting, pulling and carrying of equipment and other objects Candidate should be willing to work outdoors, indoors and all-weather conditions. Basic knowledge of English is required.

Compensation: $29.00/hour for 30-40 hours/week along with 4% vacation pay

Benefits As per mutual agreement and BC Employment standards act 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period with 10 days of unpaid vacation time or option to chose 10 days of paid vacation with no vacation pay with gross salary. Transportation to and from the job location is provided at free of cost in company vehicle.
