Carpenter Full Time

Diamond Construction Inc. located at Unit 3, 1428 Lorne Street, Regina, SK S4R 2K4 is currently looking for three (3) Carpenters. The salary will be $34.75 per hour. Applicants should have some experience or relevant training in carpentry. Applicant should be able to communicate in English. This is a full time position. We will also consider applicants who are willing to work part time. Following are some of the duties:

•  Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residential homes and other establishments
• Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
