FARM WORKER POSITIONS AVAILABLE – OLIVER, BC

Bhupinder Singh Karwasra Farms is looking for hardworking and reliable Farm Workers to join our team in Oliver, British Columbia.

Location: 4219 Highway 97, Oliver, BC V0H 1T1
Wage: $21.30 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Vacancies: 3 Positions Available

Job Duties:
• Field work including soil preparation, ploughing, pruning, planting, weeding, cultivating, and harvesting crops
• Washing, sorting, and packing field crops
• Examining produce for quality and preparing it for market
• Loading produce into trucks and assisting with transportation activities
• Monitoring irrigation systems and soil moisture according to crop requirements
• Applying fertilizers as required for crop production
• Detecting diseases and other problems affecting crops
• Protecting crops from weeds and pests by spraying pesticides and taking other appropriate measures
• Maintaining farm machinery and equipment

Crops Include:
Apples, cherries, raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries

Experience:
Experience is not required; however, previous farm experience is considered an asset.
