Construction Painters Supervisor

HOMECARE PAINTING & COATINGS LTD. is seeking an experienced Construction Painters Supervisor to join our growing team.

Location: 12136 Boundary Dr S, Surrey, BC V3X 2B7 — various project locations
Wage: $38.50 per hour
Hours: 32 hours per week

Job Duties
The Construction Painters Supervisor will:

Prepare production, project, and other required reports.
Supervise painters, decorators, and painting projects.
Coordinate and schedule daily work activities and project assignments.
Recruit and hire workers and assist with related staffing activities.
Train workers or arrange appropriate training.
Estimate project costs, labour, materials, and supplies.
Ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable health and safety regulations.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
Lead, instruct, and provide direction to workers throughout projects.
Supervise approximately 5–10 workers, including painters, decorators, and working groups.

Qualifications
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
Previous experience supervising painters, decorators, or construction painting crews is required.
Ability to coordinate projects, workers, materials, and schedules.
Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
